Treatment Approach
My approach emphasizes building a safe and collaborative relationship between me and you to
gain a deeper understanding of how your feelings, beliefs, anxieties, and ways of coping impact
your behavior with others and yourself. Through this exploration you will gain more awareness
and appreciation of how your mind works as well as more freedom to direct your life in the ways
you want.
Even though I at times implement interventions from various theoretical orientations such as
family systems or cognitive behavioral therapy, I primarily provide interventions deriving from
psychodynamic psychotherapy. I believe this approach helps many people make the most long-
lasting and meaningful gains in their sense of self and relationships with others.
