I am a licensed psychologist in private practice. My office is located in Hayes Valley of San
Francisco. I treat children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family psychotherapy. I
have extensive experience helping individuals and families work through problems such as
relationship and work issues, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and substance use. Other
struggles that I can be of help with are bipolar disorder, psychosis, chronic feelings of
emptiness or anger, low self-esteem, and difficulties parenting. The approach
I use often goes beyond symptom relief whereby people feel more capacity to enjoy themselves
and others as well as experience more meaning in their lives.
I earned my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional
Psychology in San Francisco. Throughout my professional training I have gained experience
working with many diverse populations in various settings in the Bay Area. These settings
include adult and adolescent residential treatment facilities, adult day health center, schools,
and community outpatient clinics. These experiences have reinforced my appreciation for the
diversity, complexity, and uniqueness of people. They have also helped me develop competence
